Week Commencing 5th March

Dear parents/carers

I hope you have had fun in the snow and made some lovely snow day memories. Thank you to everyone who has replied to your mummy's lunch invite, if you are able to join us and have not replied please could you do so as soon as possible, thank you. Next week we will be looking at keeping healthy and what foods are good for us, to fit in with this theme our role play area will be a fruit and veg shop.

In our small group time we will be using action cards this will involve the children listening and following different instructions and encourage them to move in different ways.

Rising fives- our sound of the week will be 'h' and we will be playing some fun games from the letters and sounds programme.

Thank you to everyone who has added to our snack basket the children have really been enjoying the great variety.

Please could we ask that all small items in lunch boxes such as grapes are cut in half as they are a real chocking hazard, The size and shape of grapes means that they can completely plug children’s airways, with the tight seal produced by fruit’s smooth, flexible surface making them tricky to shift with first aid manoeuvres.

Have fun and stay warm Kind regards Fliss and team
